How a photo is made
Upload one photo. You place the head in the frame. The tool checks it and makes a 600×600 JPEG at or under 240 KB. A plain background is turned white. It does not change the face. A failed check blocks the download. The entry is submitted by you, at dvprogram.state.gov, and that entry is free.
- Upload. One photo you already have, or one taken with the phone camera.
- Check. Each rule is pass, warning, or fail. Any fail blocks the download.
- Download. Save the JPEG. Submit the entry yourself at dvprogram.state.gov. One photo per person.
The tool crops to 600×600 and turns a plain light background white. It does not change the face.
